Hi everyone!! We are here today with another monthly segment of SEW DOLLY! ~ a grand fashion tour of all of the pretty things that we have been making up for our new doll, Tenney Delilah Grant! When we first got her, we knew that she just had to have a few new clothing items that were just for her.
So let’s take a look at Tenney’s new wardrobe shall we?
Up first is Tenney’s Picnic Outfit! We already had an AG denim shirt, we just needed some lace shorts…er…a skirt! I whipped up this pretty lace skirt and added some brown riding boots. (These are actually Saige’s boots. Don’t tell her! LOL!)
Cute, right?! ❤
I adore this look! It’s so very country. 🙂
Our Tenney’s eyes are so dark. Love! ❤
Of course, we can’t forget her guitar!
She can’t make her debut without it. This guitar is MyLifeAs brand from Walmart. It plays one song. 🙂
Next up is Tenney’s Spotlight Outfit! We fell in love with this outfit, so we knew that we had to replicate it. 🙂
Tenney looks so pretty in pink!
I had a lot of this eyelet lace that worked perfectly for her top.
It’s hard to tell but the skirt has a tulle overlay. This peachy pink fabric is also very shimmery. I found it for $5 in the discount fabrics. This outfit cost me $5 to make! 🙂
I love it! Tenney is ready to shine!
Our Tenney just had to have a bandana print dress, so I whipped one up with this fabric that I also found in the discount fabrics for $5. I just love discounted fabric! It’s perfect for doll clothes making! 🙂
I just love the little buttons and the collar detail at the neck! I also love the ruffles. 🙂
So pretty!! I altered the OhSewKat Sugar & Spice Dress Pattern to make this dress.
Ready for the stage! ❤
Here’s another cute outfit that we put together for Tenney. We used the same lace skirt that I made for Tenney’s Picnic Outfit. We already had this top, not sure where it came from, but we thought that it was the perfect fit (and colour!) for Tenney!
We just added a little belt for some country flair! 🙂
Next, I made a pretty pink party dress with glittery silver polka dots. A girl can’t have enough pink, or glitter right?
A tiara for Tenney was also a must.
Rodeo princess. ❤
Gorgeous! Here is a close up.
The dress is a very soft pink, so it is kind of hard to tell in the photos.
I used Pixie Faire’s Wrap Top Dress Pattern to make this dress. It was a very simple pattern, and I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys an easy sewing project. 🙂
Here is a look at her hair in the back. We put large rollers in it to make waves. Then we just pinned it back with bobby pins.
Add a denim fringe jacket for a different look.
Tenney is wearing MyLifeAs brand sandals, and denim fringe jacket.
Adorable! The perfect outfit for a cool evening out.
Ready for some two stepping! ❤
Last, but not least, our Tenney needed some cute jammies to snuggle into at the end of a long day.
I found this super sweet printed fabric in the discount bin as well for $5. I love making $5 doll clothes! 🙂
This print is adorable for Tenney! Guitars, and horseshoes and cowboy boots, oh my! 🙂
Here’s a close up.
The buttons are for show. The front of these pajamas is actually a strip of velcro.
I made these pajamas using the Heartwarming Pajamas Pattern. The moccasin slippers are from AG.
Goodnight Tenney!!
I hope that you enjoyed looking at all of Tenney’s new outfits! She is definitely a cutie! 🙂

Do you sell your items? I want the exact eyelet skirt your Tenney is wearing.

Awww, thank you! I feel like I am a beginner/intermediate, somewhere in there. Not even close to being advanced yet, but I would need a much better sewing machine, and probably some other advanced tools for that. For doll clothes though, I don’t have to be too advanced, depending on the pattern. That’s why I mainly use Pixie Faire patterns. 🙂

Nope, I have to say that I am just starting to be more intermediate, but thank you! 🙂

Adorable, I love it all! I would have to say that the PJ’s are my favorite, that fabric is perfect.

Thank you! Yes, when I saw that fabric in the discount section I knew that it was perfect for Tenney’s pajamas! I have a lot left over so I am thinking that bedding and pillows are in order. 🙂

Your outfits for Tenney are wonderful!! They look like the clothes she would pick out for herself! I too like her boots and am trying to craft them, but they will not even come close to AG’s.

I really wish that they would sell those boots separately. I would definitely consider buying them. 🙂

All these clothes are SEW cute! My favorite is Tenney’s Spotlight Outfit. I think I like the one you made better than AG’s version! Minus the cowgirl boots, of course. If I could buy those separately, they would be mine by now!
