Hi guys! So we are back to school, and finally settling into the swing of things! Since we are back to school, we thought that we should show you the dolls heading back to school too! Here is an inside peek of the classroom that we set up this year for the dolls. š Enjoy!
We’ve had this classroom backdrop for a while now. We just love how interactive it is!
On this side is a magnetic bulletin board. It’s perfect for homework reminders.
Next is the interchangeable photo wall. There are tons of photos stored in the school cabinet, so the girls have lots of options!
This part of the classroom wall is my favourite. The board is magnetic, and there is a little clip at the top for the signs which are interchangeable. We have every sign available from Book Buddies to Intramurals to Science Projects, and a whole lot more! The dolls have lots of fun changing out the activities all day long.
Finally, over in this corner is the chalkboard. Someone seems to be playing hangman today. š
We also have some classroom pets.
Here are the classroom hamsters. We have two of them. Their names are Peanut Butter and Jelly. š
The hamsters sit beside the teacher’s desk on this little makeshift shelving unit. The little blue drawers are well stocked with worksheets, paper, stickers, and other necessities that the dolls might need.
The valentine’s day mailbox is a cute little addition that we added to our classroom so that the dolls could send each other mail.
When the flag is up, you’ve got mail!
Here’s a look at the teacher’s desk. We made it using an AG doll box.
On this side of the desk is an easel with a whiteboard, and a jar of pencils. There are also a few little boxes, and a tray with supplies.
Jar of toothpick pencils. š
Here is a look at the teacher’s supply tray. This holds everything from library cards, hall passes, book reports, file folders, and clipboards etc.
Behind the desk is the piano.
We made this piano from the lid of a scrapbook box, and a Ritz box.
On this side of the desk is a little clock. There is also a map that we pasted onto the front of the teacher’s desk.
Another whiteboard easel is propped up on the floor beside the desk. There is a cute little plaque on it. Behind the easel is the doll lockerĀ that we made.
Here is a close up of the mini teacher plaque. Cute! š
Next we have the desks. There are two types of desks in our classroom.
The desks up front are quite big and roomy. There is room for all the doll’s extra work inside.
We made these desks awhile back, and they have been going strong ever since.
I love all the little accessories. š
We often use these little scrapbook boxes as chairs for these desks. I would use regular chairs, but they are being used at the kitchen table in the dollhouse right now.
We will have to find a better seating solution for these desks. As you can see, there isn’t much room for the doll’s legs to fit under. Oh well, that’s for later.
The other desk type that we have for the doll school are these chairs. We found these while out thrifting. They are very good for the dolls to sit at, but they don’t have any storage.
We actually found the two doll desks on separate thrifting occasions. Funny how things work out.
At the very back of the room, we have a chest of drawers, and a couple of doll lockers.
These drawers are fully stocked with all of the classroom supplies. The lockers are thrifted items. Again, we found them on two separate occasions, in two different cities even! It pays to do a little thrift shopping when you are on the road!
On top of the drawer chest is another magnetic sign. There are plenty of magnets here!
There you have it! Welcome to doll school! Just in time for our own back to school! š
Ā Here is a bird’s eye view. š
Are your dolls going back to school too?

Your doll classroom is awesome! Very creative! I had so much fun creating my doll’s classroom. I have wanted to make a science lab and a music room too. Where did you find the print out for the piano keys? I had printed one out years ago, but have misplaced it. I hope Little Miss has a great new school year!

Thank you! I would love to see your doll classroom! š A science lab would be so cool! I got the piano keys from the AG doll school book kit my sister got for us. It came with the keys and the sheet music. It’s a very cute set!
