In keeping with our 18 inch doll food theme, I wanted to post about something that we discovered lately that is a lot of fun to make doll food out of.

Drum roll please!

Wax sticks! Also known as WikkiStix or Bendaroos.

Now we have a good pile of these things so they are perfect for crafting with.

And the best part? They never dry out. That means that once you are done playing with your creation, you can just take it apart if you like, and make something new. How’s that for the perfect creation tool? We have been having loads of fun with it!

Make tons of food for your dolls and if they want something different to eat, just take it apart and cook them up something new!

So there you have it!

Another great thing about crafting using these sticks is that you don’t have to bake them. You don’t have to wait for them to air dry either since, they never dry out! That means that your creations are ready for play immediately.

If that isn’t instant gratification at it’s finest, then I don’t know what is. I know my daughter sure thought so. She had a blast with this craft. I’ve never seen her so busy!
