DIY DOLL VALENTINE’S DECOR

Hey guys! We are back this week with another fun Valentine’s Day craft for your dolls! This cute LOVE hanging banner is adorable and so easy to make!

What you need:

Felt (red, white and pink)

White cardstock

Ribbon

Twine or string

Hot glue

Cardboard

Pencil

Black marker

Letter stencil (optional)

First, you need to make a cardboard stencil to trace your rectangle felt pieces. We made ours 3 inches by 2.5 inches.

Use a pencil to trace the stencil onto the felt. Cut four felt rectangles.

These are all the same size, the camera angle just makes them look strange. Lol!

Next, cut a stencil from cardstock. We made ours 2.5 inches by 1.8 inches.

Trace and cut out four rectangles from white cardstock paper.

Use your letter stencil or you can just draw the letters with a black marker if you want.

We cut a red heart from felt and hot glued it on for the ‘O’ in LOVE.

Hot glue the cardstock rectangles to the felt rectangles.

Now take your ribbon and begin hot gluing your pieces to the center.

Make sure they all line up with a small gap between each letter block.

We added a little silver bow with a pink felt heart at the very top.

Next, hot glue a loop of twine or string on the back for hanging. Glue a felt circle on to cover the ends of the twine.

And you’re done!! Time to hang it in your doll’s room! We used a tiny piece of sticky tac to hang ours as it is only temporary for the holiday.

This turned out super cute! Just perfect for Valentine’s Day! ❤️

I hope you enjoyed our tutorial!

We are still organizing our craft room as well as our new photo studio area, so bear with us. It’s a big part of why none of our dolls have made it into any of our photos lately.

Ah well, I think I can finally see a light at the end of this tunnel. Hopefully by next weekend things will all be sorted and ready to go. Fingers crossed.

Have an amazing week, you guys, and keep on crafting! ❤️

    1. It is so easy!! We want to make more holiday decor for our dolls as we don’t have a lot, and it really shows! Lol! We have very few holiday related scenes. Christmas is usually a whirlwind, so there isn’t much time, but we would like to do more for the smaller holidays.
