Hey guys! I am back with another DIY fan merch post!
I decided that I would have to break down my fan merch into parts as there is quite a bit. I was pretty bored during COVID and I was injured so there wasn’t much to do besides writing and painting and creating. Speaking of which, I finished writing and editing the first book in my new series! Yay! But more on that later.
First, I am going to be highlighting my Harry Potter fan merch collection! Those who know me, know that I LOVE all things Harry Potter, so when we went to Disney World a couple of years back, I was kind of disappointed in their Harry Potter merchandise selection. That’s when I decided to do what I do best, take matters into my own hands, aka DIY!
So those who know me also know that I love to paint. It’s just so relaxing and it’s a lot of fun to take something out of my head and to try to bring it to life. I am like that with my book writing too. I have this big beautiful world in my mind. It just needs to be set free. š
Anyway, I don’t sell my work. My dream is just that one day I will have this huge art gallery in my house with hundreds of my works. I would also like bookshelves full of the books I have written. However, if that is to be the case, I had better get on it. LOL!
Without further adieu, here is the Harry Potter selection of my paintings so far. I hope that you enjoy!
Here’s a bit of my overall process for anyone who’s interested:

It’s always kind of cool to watch a painting come to life:
I just recently finished this one:
That last one I did post in my other fan merch post. If you missed it and would like to check it out, you can find those here:
Now, besides painting, I do also enjoy making other types of fan art such as sculpture, and sticking vinyl stickers on everything. Hey, that’s art! LOL! I don’t see why not. Anyway, as far as Harry Potter goes, there are only these so far that I have created.Ā
WINGED KEY
This one is part of a much larger work I made that hangs above my fireplace. (Can you spot the 221B Sherlock reference?)ā¤
The last one is my favourite. š I’m a bit of a coffee addict. ā¤
Moving on. For Christmas this year I created a pair of baby Mandrakes for the Little Miss. We adore their grouchy little faces!
Lastly, Little Miss turned thirteen this year. Where did the time go?? Anyway, her birthday party plans were kiboshed because of COVID so I had to improvise. Iāve also still been pretty injured so I canāt make it to the store to purchase any gifts. Instead I made her this mini Harry Potter suitcase.
Hereās a closer look at the contents:
Little Miss is Slytherin. š I am Ravenclaw.
I also made her a tiny Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon.
And a little Gnome Chompsky from Trollhunters.Ā
I hope you enjoyed our DIY Harry Potter fan merch! Stay tuned for more DIY fan merch posts coming soon!
