DIY TACOS UPDATED VERSION!

Hi guys! Just a quick tutorial because recently I have found an even easier way to make doll tacos, and I wanted to share!! Last year I posted a tutorial on making doll sandwiches and tacos. You can find that tutorial HERE

Since then, our sandwich tutorial is still going strong, but I have been experimenting with easy ways of making other doll food. I will be posting a tutorial on doll hamburgers and hot dogs, as well as doll hot chocolate very soon, but today I have a request for tacos! 🙂

Here is the update: What you need is nearly the same as the previous tutorial: air dry clay, some clay tools, a toothbrush, a toothpick, and paint, however you will also need one more thing–a round cookie cutter. My cutter is about 2.75 inches in diameter.

Step One: Roll out your clay, and use the cookie cutter to cut a circle that is about half an inch thick. Step Two: Cut your circle in half.

Step Three: Turn the two half circles on their sides.

Step Four: Using the toothpick start marking your lines.

Start by making an indent at the bottom. Then gently mark out the lines along the top of the taco.

Here you can see where I have marked out the lines. You should have two lines on either side. In between these lines is where you will add your textured filling.

Step Five: Next, use your sharp tool to poke, and pull out some texture in between the two lines that you just drew.

Simple as that! LOVE!! ❤

If you want, you can take a toothbrush, (an old one that no one is currently using 😛 ) and add a bit of soft texture to the exterior of the taco shell.

All that is left to do is paint! You can take a look at that original taco tutorial to see how we paint our tacos.

I hope that you enjoyed! And I hope that there are mucho dolly tacos in your future!! YUM!! 😛 Everybody loves tacos!!
