Hi guys! Today at doll camp I am going to show you how to make a cute little lantern for your dolls! 🙂

For this craft you will need:

Hot glue

Aluminum foil

Scissors

Cardboard packaging (cereal box or other)

Start with a square of cardboard packaging. Cut a piece that is 4 inches by 4 inches.

Next, hot glue your cardboard to the dull side of a piece of tin foil.

Trim the excess foil.

Fold your square in half, and cut on the fold in lines as shown. Do not cut all the way down. Leave a half inch or so for the top and bottom of the lantern.

This is what it should look like when you open it up.

Next, roll up your lantern. Put a bit of hot glue at the top edge and the bottom edge to keep it closed.

You can squeeze it a little to shape it.

To make a handle for your lantern, cut a strip of cardboard.

Cover the strip in foil.

Now hot glue the handle in place!

And you’re done!

These are perfect for lighting the way in the dark, or make a bunch to hang at a party!
