Hi guys! Welcome back to my blog! Here is a really cute craft to try for your doll’s kitchen. Don’t worry, I am going to be doing some Valentine’s Day decor crafting soon, so stay tuned for that. Meanwhile, let’s make an adorable oven roaster, so we can cook up a Valentine’s Day feast for our dolls.
What You Need:
Beauty blender packaging
Black spray paint (or other paint works too)
Black craft foam
Seed beads, buttons, silver scrap paper bits, other bits
Hot glue
I had this dome like packaging left over from my beauty blender sponge that I thought would work perfectly for this craft. I got mine from the Dollar Tree, but I have seen them in drugstores as well. This craft is quite simple, but it turned out really cute.

First, spray paint or simply paint the bottom of the plastic dome black. Paint both the outside and the inside. Leave the lid of the dome clear.

Once it is dry, we can add the dials, buttons and handles. You can use pretty much any small beads, buttons etc. for this.
I made a faceplate for my control panel using a small bit of leftover silver scrapbook paper.

Then I hot glued on some beads and buttons. I used two buttons stacked for the dial.

I added some temperature setting lines all the way around the buttons.

Then I added a red bead for the Power On light.

Next, cut a black strip from craft foam for the top handle on the roaster lid. Hot glue in place.

So cute!

Last, add the handles on the sides of the roaster. I had these rectangular conversation beads, but any small beads or even buttons would do.

I spray painted the handles black and hot glued them in place on either side of the roaster.

And you’re done!

I can’t get over how cute this turned out!

Here is a roasted ham we made a few years ago from air dry clay. It fits perfectly and will be perfect for our doll’s Valentine’s Day dinner!

Melody is excited for Valentine’s Day! Her mom is making a roast ham with all the fixings and there will be a lot of guests coming!

She helps her mom in the kitchen to start preparing the yummy ham.

She can already smell it cooking!

Melody will also help her mom set the table.

❤️Happy Valentine’s Day, Melody!❤️
I hope you enjoyed and I hope this post finds you happy and healthy as we head into our Valentine’s week.
In honour of Black History Month, I am also going to be showcasing all of our gorgeous dolls of colour this next few weeks, so stay tuned. 😊

This roaster looks so super and realistic, especially with the ham inside. Cleverly made and decorated too. I really enjoy all of your efforts and successes and appreciate all of your “in process” pictures. I think the red temperature bead really completes the realistic look of the whole roaster. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all once again.
