DIY DOLL WALL CLOCK

Hi guys! First of all, I apologize for the hiatus between posts. So much has happened! I know I rarely post about life in general, but you guys deserve an explanation for the long break.

We have moved! After a very long hunt for a house, we have finally found a new home! This summer has been spent doing a lot of renovation, but we hope to be able to move in soon.

In the meantime, since the dolls and all of our crafting supplies are packed away, it may be some time before we are active on here again, but do not worry! I do have a small craft that I forgot to post last year.

Let’s make a wall clock for our dolls!

Honestly, this little clock turned out so cute and is a great way to repurpose too, which you know we love. ❤️

To start, you will need a powder compact similar to the one shown here.

I had a couple of these saved so I am happy to find a repurpose for them.

I used non acetone nail polish remover to take off the label.

Next, trace the lid of the compact onto card stock.

Cut out. Then cut it to fit inside the compact.

I had these letter/number stickers on hand that worked perfectly for clock numbers.

Mark a line for 12, 6, 9 and 3. Then fill the other numbers in the blank spaces.

I used some black craft foam to make clock hands.

The hour hand is shorter than the minute hand so cut to size.

I hope my dolls can read an analog clock like this. I don’t think my 17 year old can. Lol! 😆

I set my clock for 12:40. No real reason. If you attach a brad pin to the center of your clock you can even make the clock hands moveable to change the time. I just glued a small gem in the center of my clock.

I used nail polish to paint the base of the clock.

Once dry, I glued the clock face in place.

Then I replaced the plastic cover.

And you’re done!

I hope you enjoyed! And again, I do apologize for the delay in posts. I hope that everything goes back to normal soon.

As soon as I get my new craft room set up, we will be back at it and I hope that we can be better than ever! Until then, keep on keeping on and I hope you have a doll crafty kind of day!
