Hi all!  Today the mini dolls are out in the garden with the new girl, Kit Kittredge! Let’s go take a peek, and see how she’s fitting in!

Here are a few of the dolls now. Let’s listen in!

Lana: You are going to love it here, Kit!

Sienna: Yes, don’t worry! Everyone is very friendly! 

Kendra: Seriously, it is way too hot for a tea party, you guys. I am simply roasting here! No offense to you, Kit.

Kit: None taken. (smiles shyly)

Lana: You should probably be my best friend, Kit, since I am the oldest.

Sienna: That doesn’t make any sense at all, Lana. Besides, I think we should let Kit decide who she wants to be friends with, don’t you think? 

Lana: But we have the same fashion sense, and everything!!

Kendra: Fashion isn’t everything you know, Lana. Did anyone bring ice water? I am dying, for real!

Sienna: Nope, all we have is tea and cake. 

Kit: That’s a very nice cake. 

Lana: Yes, I helped to make it special just for you! See, I told you, we should be besties forever!

Kit: Thank you. That’s very kind, and thoughtful.

Kendra: Where is everybody, anyway? They should be here by now. 

Sienna:  I’m not sure. I think that Saige had some homework, and Ayla had dance class. They should be here soon. 

Lana: We don’t need them to have a party anyway, do we bestie?

Kit: Um, sure? Oh wait, I hear someone now. Come on, let’s go see who’s here.

Lana: Bestie, wait up!!

Sienna: Oh look, here comes Sadie.

Kit: Hi, nice to meet you Sadie. I’m Kit.

Sadie: I heard you were coming!! It’s great to meet you!

Saige: Who’s coming? Is this the new girl! I can’t wait to meet her!

Kit: Hi, I’m Kit Kittredge. You must be Saige. Nice to meet you! 

Ayla: Yoo hoo! Over here! Do you like to dance, Kit?

Kit: No, I’m afraid I’m not much of a dancer. Actually, I’m a writer, well, more like a journalist, really. At least, that’s what I want to be, when I grow up. 

Ayla: Well, I just love to dance! I could dance forever and ever!

Kit: That’s nice.

Emily: How about sports? Do you play any sports? I’m kind of bad at sports, but I really like basketball and volleyball. 

Kit: (giggles) I’m kind of bad at sports too, but I like my scooter.

Emily: I like scooters too! Oh, and rollerblading, I really like rollerblading. 

Ayla: Ahem, excuse me, but I was talking to the new girl first. 

Emily: Well, she’s talking to me now, Ayla. Besides, we’re both AG, so that makes us besties. 

Lana: No, she’s my bestie, Emily! 

Emily: Is not! 

Lana: Is too!

Saige: That’s ridiculous, Emily! I’m AG too! That doesn’t mean anything!

All of the dolls begin talking at once, fighting over the new girl.

Kendra: Is anyone else dying of heatstroke?

Kit thinks to herself: What have I gotten myself into? These people are crazy!

Suddenly Holly appears.

Holly: Hold up! What’s all this ruckus about! I was trying to get some sleep! 

Lana: The new girl is here Holly! Everyone has been fighting over her, when clearly she is supposed to be my bestie, but no one is listening to me…

Sadie: (interrupts) Your bestie? She’s a free person Lana, you can’t own people! Besides, I think she wants to be my bestie!

All of the dolls begin to argue again.

Holly: Alright new girl, you’re coming with me! What’s your name anyway?

Kit: Kit Kittredge.

Kit: Uh, where are we going?

Holly: Away from all of these hooligans before they scare you off! Sorry about all of that. My friends don’t seem to understand common courtesy. They can be a bit overwhelming, but they are fun once you get to know them. I promise.

Kit: Thanks. 

Holly: Sure, no problem. My name is Holly, by the way. You should probably remember that.

Kit: Oh, why?

Holly: Because I’m your new bestie, silly! 🙂

*We found the little patio set when we were out thrifting this week, and we thought that it would be perfect for our garden tea party meet and greet with mini Kit!

**We found the two mini doll party dresses last year on Amazon, and the cake is from the Queen’s Treasures. 🙂
