Hi guys! We are continuing with our DIY doll Christmas decor series. Our next project is a doll table centrepiece!
I love large statement piece arrangements in my own home, so of course our dolls need one too. 😊
Let’s make it!
What You Need
Small box (we used a bar soap box, but a baking soda box or any other small box will do)
Brown/white paint
Ribbon
Faux greenery
Old toothbrush
Hot glue
Scissors
Cut box to size.

Our box measures about 3.75” by 1.5” by 1.5”

You could wrap the box in burlap or twine or yarn, but we decided to paint ours. Start by painting it white. Then using two colours of brown paint, use the old toothbrush to scratch lines on the box.

This will help the box to look like weathered wood.

Wrap a piece of ribbon around the box. Secure with hot glue.

Add a bow.

Cut a chunk of either floral foam or styrofoam and hot glue it inside the box.

Fill your box centrepiece with the fake greenery and any other embellishments you like. Just poke them into the foam, making sure to add the leaves low at the bottom to hide the foam. Fill as much as you can, so your centrepiece isn’t too bare. Use hot glue if necessary.
We didn’t have red berries, but we did have these white ones.

So using a sponge, we improvised and painted them red!

This works well for other faux florals too. We had purple lavender flowers, but we didn’t want purple for our centrepiece, so we painted them green. Now they blend in with the leaves, but they give another texture to the arrangement.

And you’re done! This centrepiece is absolutely adorable!

I think this is my favourite Christmas piece that we have made for the dolls so far. 😊❤️

I honestly believe that this could be used year round, not just for Christmas.

If you wanted, you could add in some more Christmasy details depending what type of colour scheme you want.
A white and silver vibe with some snowflake picks for accents would be really pretty. 😍 It’s all up to you. We were just working with what we had on hand.

I hope you enjoyed and I hope this inspires you to get crafty for Christmas!
We are getting so excited for the big day, but there are still more crafty ideas for your doll’s Christmas coming your way this week, so keep watching this page daily. You don’t want to miss it! 😊
