DIY NANEA’S FAMILY MARKET

Hi guys! Today we want to show you the DIY we created of Nanea’s Family Market! We will have tutorials for everything coming soon, but for now, we just wanted to show you all of the cuteness! We can not handle how absolutely adorable this turned out, and the amazing thing is that it cost us zero dollars to make. Hooray! That is total success in my book. 🙂

Let’s take a tour shall we?

Here we have the main shelf of the market complete with little bags of rice and enough spam to last a dolly lifetime! 🙂 The items on the middle shelf were just some thrifty finds I added in there that we already had on hand.

Here is a look at the bottom shelf. The pineapples are tablecloth weights that I found at the dollar store a long time ago.

The AG Pono’s Market is pink and green, but I really like the red and green colour scheme. Plus I didn’t have any pink paint at the time. 🙂

Some close ups of the rice bags. I think these are so cute! The Little Miss had fun filling these with real rice. 🙂

We added a little pan flute to our market set because well, DIY, so we can do whatever we want!! Whoo! haha! 🙂

These are some doll sized thrift store canisters we found that work really well with this set.

We found this ukelele at the thrift store too. ❤

 Bolts of assorted fabric.

Little Miss made the shoes. 🙂

Let’s move on to the counter area!

This is the pineapple crate with four copies of the Honolulu Star Bulletin of the times.

On top of the counter we have travel brochures and a postcard rack full of Hawaiian postcards.

Down below on the shelves we have bins of mangoes and dragon fruits.

We also have some best wishes from Hawaii greeting cards for sale. The brown paper bags below are tiny gift bags we found at the dollar store. They had raffia rope handles, but we just carefully clipped them off.

This is our DIY cash register. We have been wanting a cash register for a long time. We painted ours silver instead of orange because we want to be able to use it with other doll sets as well.

We also included this cute radio that we made a while back. I think it looks adorable! 🙂

We had printed off a lot of posters to go with Nanea’s Market, but when we went to put them up we found we had nowhere to display them. So I created this little bulletin board. Now the dolls have a place to post all of their recent announcements. 🙂

There you have it! DIY Nanea’s Market on a dime budget! If you want to make one for yourself, stay tuned as we will be posting all of the fun details very soon!

Thanks for joining us and I hope that you have a crafty day!!
