DIY DOLL TV DINNERS!

Ohmygosh! I am so excited to show you all what we’ve been making! Ever since AG came out with the new pink refrigerator for Maryellen, all we could think about were those adorable TV dinners.

However, AG never sells any of their cute accessories separately, so there wasn’t really a chance that we would ever get to own them. 😦 Sad face.

But then the other day, we found an awesome tutorial to DIY them over at AmericanGirlIdeas! She even has the printables for the little freezer boxes that the trays come in! You just have to check it out! They are so amazing, and they are the perfect size for the dolls!

The tutorial for everything is on the AmericanGirlIdeas site, so I won’t go into all of the steps here.

Tada!

So much cuteness! I am just in love with all of the little details!

Here is the chicken with mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. We made the chicken drumstick from Model Magic clay. That stuff is amazing. 🙂

Next up is the turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes and cream corn.

The macaroni is so adorable! It makes me smile every time that I see it! Here it is paired with carrots and peas. I just used a hole punch and green craft foam for my peas. In the tutorial she uses model magic. I think it looks cute either way.

We also made up some roast beef with mashed potatoes and carrots. Everything you see here is mostly just made with craft foam and glue.

We ended up using the bottoms of the silver boxes for the trays as well, instead of just the lids. The bottoms of the boxes are a wee bit smaller, but the kids don’t seem to care. 🙂

I can’t get over how cute these are!!

Thank you so much to the amazing team over at AmericanGirlIdeas.com for all of their hard work, and for bringing us some of the coolest ideas ever!! 🙂
