Hello everyone!
This week in Fab Fashion, we are showcasing our JLY #8 Samantha as historical Beforever doll Samantha Parkington!
Samantha Parkington is a bright young orphan girl being raised by her grandmother. She is generous of heart, and always willing to lend a helping hand. She was born in 1895, but her series takes place at the beginning of the 20th century in 1904.
In a time of new ideas and progression, Samantha is interested in the way the world is changing. She is seen as a leader, although at times she can be rough and tumble, unlike a proper lady!
Samantha is wearing a dress that I actually repurposed from an infant dress. We thought it was perfect for her! The large collar can be removed.
She is also wearing her signature hairstyle with a large black ribbon in her hair. This is one of my daughter’s hair clips! 🙂
Samantha’s tights are AG and her purple maryjanes are from an Our Generation set.
Here is a look at Samantha’s dress without the collar. I love the cute little ribbons at the waist. ❤
Samantha’s bicycle is from Newberry for Sears. We are very impressed with this little bike! The tires are true rubber, and it is very sturdy! The front basket has plenty of space for Samantha to put her freshly picked sunflowers! 🙂
So pretty! 🙂
Here’s a little wicker wagon that we found at the thrift store this week! I love it so much! It is so cute! ❤
Have a pretty flower! ❤
We got these sunflowers from the dollar store. There is such a wide selection of flowers there. ❤

Well, I guess I should head on home. Grandmother will worry if I’m late.
These flowers will be perfect for the dinner table tonight!
Goodbye Samantha! ❤
Goodbye everyone! Thank you for coming!

I hope you enjoyed our version of Samantha Parkington! 🙂
Be sure to leave a comment below, and tell us what you think!!
Samantha’s birth year would be 1895 (not 1865).
